How does craigslist.com make money?

by admin on July 24, 2009

so, craigslist does not charge to post nor do they take a percentage of monetary transactions. So, how do they make money????

They do charge for some ads, in some locations. For jobs in certain areas, there’s a fee and for housing listings in other areas, there’s a fee.

So, they do charge for some ads, but they’re very limited charges and in very limited locations.

They actually do charge for some of the ads. I think in some of the largest locations, employment ads and real estate is charged for.
